Thirteen new bills are expected to be tabled (in both the houses) during the winter session of Maharashtra assembly, which starts from December 11, 2017 in Nagpur. According to Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Girish Bapat, 11 ordinances would also be tabled apart from the 13 bills, for the approval by the House. The Gujarat elections, whose results are expected on December 18, are going to be the focal point of the winter session.
As per reports, the Opposition has decided to attack the BJP led government on issues like loan waiver for farmers, inflated farm prices and Maratha reservation. They also plan to carry out a grand rally on December 12, which coincides with NCP supremo Sharad Pawar’s birthday.
