SIx members of the family of the man who died due to COVID-19 in Nagpur tested positive on Thursday making the tally rise to 25. The age of all positive patients are: 8, 12, 21, 30, 34 and 35. The city recorded its first death due to COVID-19 on April 6 after a 68-year-old resident of Satranjpura Badi Masjid in East Nagpur passed away on Sunday night and on Monday he was found be COVID-19 positive. He was hospitalised in city’s Mayo Hospital on April 4 in ward number 21 due to respiratory issues .

Moreover, the deceased had no travel history. The 68-year-old had come to the OPD of the hospital alone at midnight 12 due to fever. The area where he was residing was also sealed by NMC authorities.
