The Airports Authority of India (AAI) on Friday issued guidelines for passengers after it said that domestic flights might resume soon in COVID-19 lockdown. AAI on its twitter handle posted some preventive measures passengers should take before boarding their respective flights.
AAI on Twitter wrote, “With the possibility of resumption of domestic flights soon, #AAI has released some steps that must be followed so passengers are fully geared up while travelling. Wear a mask, carry a hand sanitizer, keep docs handy & register on #AarogyaSetuApp. #AAICares.”
Passengers, as per guidelines, have to compulsorily download Aarogya Setu app, wear a mask and other protective gears, maintain four-feet physical distance from other co-passengers, do web-check in on priorly, carry a print out of the boarding card, wash or sanitise hand frequently and co-operate with the airport authorities. Aarogya Setu, a health status app traces Corona positive cases within the proximity of two km to three km. AAI emphasised on using hand sanitizer at regular intervals and carry a 350 ml bottle of sanitiser along.
