Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looked resplendent in a purple body hugging peacock motif gown with a long train, during her first day of red carpet at Cannes Film Festival in France.

Michael Cinco, who was the man behind Rai’s much talked about ‘Cindrella’ gown last year at Cannes, designed her gown for her red carpet this year.

While Aishwarya looked picture perfect in her purple gown, daughter Aaradhya, who walked hand-in-hand with mommy Aishwarya, looked adorable in a bright red dress.
