Bollywood’s Khiladi, superstar Akshay Kumar, on Monday, said that he would want star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra to play him in a biopic if ever made.
Neeraj Chopra has become a national sensation after winning Gold at the recent Tokyo Olympics. The 23-year-old created history by winning Gold for India in his debut Olympics.
Chopra, who himself is a big fan of Kumar, had once told a media house in 2018 that if a biopic on him is ever made, he would want Akshay Kumar to act in it. Chopra was already a world champion in javelin throw back then, as he had won the Asian and Commonwealth championships.
Kumar was quoted saying, “He is a very good-looking guy. If a bio pic on me is made, I would want him (Neeraj Chopra) to play in it.”
Also, he had congratulated Chopra on his stunning victory in Olympics. Kumar took to Twitter and wrote, “It’s a GOLD Heartiest Congratulations Neeraj Chopra on creating history. You’re responsible for a billion tears of joy! Well done.”
India currently awaits Kumar’s latest film Bell Bottom, which is a spy thriller film based on stories and events by Khalistani separatists in India during the 1980s.
