Within two weeks, all adults across America will be eligible for COVID-19 vaccine, Present Joe Biden announced on Tuesday.

“By no later than 19 April, every adult aged 18 years and above will be eligible to be vaccinated. No more confusing rules. No more confusing restrictions,” Biden said in his remarks at the White House.

The United States, which has reported the most coronavirus deaths of any country is now a leader in vaccine distribution. But even after the pace of coronavirus vaccinations, President Biden warned citizens that the nation is not yet out of the woods when it comes to the pandemic.

“Let me be deadly earnest with you: We aren't at the finish line. We still have a lot of work to do. We're still in a life and death race against this virus,” Biden said.

Biden warned that “new variants of the virus are spreading and they're moving quickly. Cases are going back up, hospitalisations are no longer declining.” He added, ‘the pandemic remains dangerous,’ and encouraged citizens to continue to wash their hands, maintain social distancing and use masks.

Urging citizens to get vaccinated, the President also said no one should fear the mutations of Covid-19. He acknowledged that the new strains are more virulent and more dangerous, but said ‘the vaccines work on all of them.’
