AAP worker Durgesh Pathak has said that according to Delhi HC, AAP-led Delhi government did not owe any money to Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).
Aam Aadmi Party worker Durgesh Pathak, on Saturday, addressed a press conference in New Delhi and said that according to Delhi High Court, AAP-led Delhi government did not owe any money to Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).
Pathak’s statement comes a day after BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi’s press conference, during which she accused AAP government of withholding Rs 13,000 crore, which belongs to MCD. Pathak said: “Delhi High Court gave two orders, one on November 5 and other on December 16. Both the orders state that the Delhi government doesn’t owe a single penny to MCD. The BJP-led MCD workers haven’t been paid since last 4-5 months. BJP leaders are running away from their responsibilities.”
