Renowned author Ratneshwar Singh discussed his latest book 'Ek Ladki Paani Paani' during the 5th edition of 'Kalam – Apni Bhasa, Apne Log' by Pratibha Khaitan Foundation held at Hotel Radisson Blu Hotel in Nagpur. Singh last penned down the book - Rekhna Meri Jaan, which is fictional book focussing on global warming and has already entered the bestseller list.
Singh spoke about 'Ek Ladki Paani Paani,' which is based on water crisis, during a session conducted by Jyotika Kapoor at this event, which was conducted by Priyanka Kothari in association with Ehsaas Women of Nagpur comprising of Parveen Tuli, Monica Bhagwagar and Neeta Singh.
During the conversation, Singh spoke about matriarchy, feminism and revealed as to how writing is an 'out of the body’ experience for him. Speaking about his latest book, Singh educated the audience about water management and informed as to how in 15 years we will reach acute water scarcity. Readers had a chance to ask the things that made them curious during a Q & A session with Singh. During the session, Singh also discussed his next book - Pachtattva.
Singh is an alumni of Nagpur's SFS school and Hislop College and he started his writing journey from the Orange city. After the session, the audience left with a signed copy of his new book 'Ek Ladki Paani Paani,' which is set in Nagpur with Water Crisis as the central theme.
