A 55-year-old man, who was bedridden since the last five years following an accident, has started walking and speaking after he took the first dose of Covishield on January 4, doctors claimed on Thursday. The man Dularchand Munda is a resident of Salgadih village of Uttasara panchayat area of Peterwar clock in Bokaro district of Jharkhand.
Dr Albela Kerketta, the in-charge of Peterwar Community Heatlh Centre, said: "An Anganwadi worker administered Covishield vaccine to Munda on January 4 at his house. The next day, the family members were shocked when they saw Munda’s lifeless body not only started to move but he regained his speech too."
Bokaro's Civil Surgeon Dr Jitendra Kumar informed that a three-member medical team has been constituted to examine the 'miraculous recovery.' Dr Kumar said: "This is a surprising incident. We will analyse his medical history."
