Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers across the country, today, celebrated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 71st birthday with great zeal and enthusiasm.
BJP men from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh (MP) cut a 71-feet-long syringe-shaped cake on the eve of PM Modi’s 71st birthday. The Bharatiya Janata Party workers cut the cake, with "Thanks to Modiji for Namo Tikka" written on it, at Lalghati Chauraha in Bhopal, MP.
In PM Modi's parliamentary constituency Varanasi, BJP workers also celebrated their leader's birthday by lighting earthen lamps (Diya) and cut a 71-kg laddu.
A book titled 'Kashi Sankalp' was also launched in presence of BJP Lok Sabha MP Roopa Ganguly and former Banaras Hindu University Vice-Chancellor, GC Tripathi.
BJP National President JP Nadda launched the "Seva and Samarpan" campaign to mark PM Modi's 71st birthday. Under this campaign, BJP planned to conduct various events across the nation in PM Modi’s name.
“On PM Modi's birthday, BJP has started 'Seva Aur Samarpan' Abhiyaan. No work can be more satisfactory than public service. Under PM Modi's leadership, politics of casteism and appeasement has been replaced by politics of development,” said Nadda during the launch.
