IED in the unattended bag found at Delhi's Ghazipur flower market
Ahead of Republic Day celebrations in the capital on January 26, an improvised explosive device was found in an unattended bag in Delhi's Ghazipur flower market on Friday (January 14) morning. National Security Guard's (NSG) bomb disposal team took the bag to an open ground and carried out a controlled explosion to defuse the IED.
As per reports, Delhi Police received the information about the bag at around 10:30 am. Thereafter, officials from special cell of Delhi Police, bomb detection and disposal team of the NSG and fire tenders rushed to the spot.
