The number of people affected by coronavirus in the city rose to 4 as a colleague of the first patient of the virus in the city tested positive on Saturday. The colleague, a man, undergoing treatment at GMCH in the city.

The news was confirmed to Nation Next by Dr Avinash Gawande, Medical Superintendent, GMCH, Nagpur. Dr Gawande said, “Out of the four people who were kept under observation, one has tested positive. The man recently travelled with the first Nagpur coronavirus patient.”

For the uninitiated, the other coronavirus patients in the city apart from the first patient and his colleague involve the first patient’s wife and relative.
