Nagpur’s biggest ‘Shobhayatra' has been cancelled keeping in mind the coronavirus outbreak and the 21-day lockdown imposed by PM Narendra Modi.

Nagpur’s biggest ‘Shobhayatra,’ which is organised by Shri Poddareshwar Ram Mandir situated at Central Avenue every year to celebrate Ram Navami, has been cancelled keeping in mind the coronavirus outbreak and the 21-day lockdown imposed by PM Narendra Modi.

As per a report in The Times of India, the puja and the aarti proceedings from Poddareshwar Ram Mandir will be streamed live on Facebook on Ram Navami between 10:30 to 1:30 pm on April 2. The trust has now reportedly decided to take out the annual procession tentatively on Janki Navami in April provided things are normalized in the country again.

The Ram Navami celebrations by Ram Nagar Temple were already called off earlier this month due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
