The Enforcement Directorate, on Thursday, October 14, summoned Bollywood actresses Nora Fatehi and Jacqueline Fernandez in a money laundering case.
Reportedly, both of the actresses were asked to present themselves today at the ED office in Mumbai.
The said enquiry would be happening in connection to a multi-million extortion racket against accused Suresh Chandrashekhar.
Chandrashekar was arrested in 2017 for his alleged involvement in a 200-crore money laundering case. Reportedly, he bribed the Election Commission officers for electoral gains.
Earlier, the ED had found Fernandez as a witness in this case and questioned her regarding the same. The 36-year-old actress was question by the ED four nearly four hours in Delhi in the month of August.
