According to a report by IIFL Wealth and Hurun India, which was released on Thursday, September 30, both the Adani brothers- Gautam Adani and Vinod Shantilal Adani secured ranks in the list of ‘Top 10 rich Indians.’
Gautam Adani secured the second position after Mukesh Ambani, who was named as the richest man in India for the 10th consecutive year.
Ambani’s total net worth was valued over ₹7 lakh crore.
However, Gautam’s brother Vinod, stood on the eighth position in the list of ‘Top 10 rich Indians.’
Based in Dubai, Vinod currently is involved in trading businesses in Dubai, Singapore and other countries. His total net worth was valued at ₹1,31,600 crore (over one lakh crore).
Gautam Adani is the only Indian to date, who built five companies worth ₹1 lakh crore. Adani Group headed by Gautam Adani was valued over ₹5 lakh crore.
According to reports, Adani and his family earned ₹1,002 crore a day in the last one year to quadruple their wealth to ₹5,05,900 crore from ₹1,40,200 crore a year-ago.
Adani, the 59-year-old business giant overtook China's bottled water producer Zhong Shanshan as Asia's second-richest with his earnings skyrocketing to ₹1,002 crore per day.
As of now, Gautam Adani is Asias’ second richest man after Reliance Supremo Mukesh Ambani being the first one.
