Inspired by the theme of railways, Nagpur Railway Station would soon have a ‘Restaurant on Wheels’ open to the passengers as well as other citizens in Nagpur.
The restaurant in Nagpur, which would be situated on the west side of the Nagpur Railway Station, would be built by using an AC III coach.
Including Nagpur, the same project is currently being executed at Baramati, Miraj, Akurdi and Chinchwad. The project is being implemented under Central Railways' catering policy of 2017.

A similar ‘Restaurant on Wheels’ was inaugurated at Mumbai’s CSMT a few days ago, which is located near platform number 18.
As per reports, the restaurant would be made open to public use in about a month. Half of the coach would have a fine dining area and another half would be used for takeout.
Reportedly, Haldiram’s bagged the catering services for the restaurant, which would make a whopping amount of ₹42 lakh for the railways.
The rates of the eatables would be decided by the licensee followed by the approval of the railways.
