Cricketer Jasprit Bumrah created history after he became the third Indian bowler to take a Test hat-trick. Bumrah took three wickets during the second day of second ongoing Test against West Indies at Sabina Park in Jamaica on Saturday. Bumrah got the wickets of Darren Bravo, Shamarh Brooks and Roston Chase off successive deliveries to achieve the feat. Apart from the three, Bumrah also took two more wickets.
Earlier, both Harbhajan Singh in a match against Australia (Kolkata 2001) and Irfan Pathan against Pakistan (Karachi 2006) had scored a hat-trick in Test cricket.
Burmah is also the 44th player to achieve the feat in the longest format of the game. England spinner Moeen Ali was the last bowler who had bagged a hat-trick against South Africa at The Oval in 2017.
