Martyred Soldier Naik Bhushan Rameshrao Satai's wreath-laying ceremony was held at Kamptee cantonment in Nagpur 

Naik Bhushan Rameshrao Satai, a soldier who hailed from Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh’s Vidhan Sabha constituency Katol in Nagpur district, died after Pakistani troops during ceasefire violation at the Line of Control (LoC) on Friday, November 13 in Jammu & Kashmir. 


His wreath laying ceremony in full military honour was held at Kamptee today (Monday, November 16) in the presence of Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, Nagpur Guardian Minister Dr Nitin Raut to name a few.


At 5 pm on Sunday, the aircraft carrying Bhushan’s body reached Nagpur airport and his remains were taken to Kamptee cantonment.

Pakistan on Friday indulged in heavy cross-border shelling along the LoC, in which five security forces personnel and six civilians lost their lives. Later, Indian troops retaliated strongly by killing eight Pakistani soldiers and injuring 12 others besides causing extensive damage to its infrastructure.
