Doctors treating COVID-19 patients in Bhubaneswar were shocked after their return to hostel rooms when they saw a large snake in one of the rooms on May 15.

Doctors, who are treating COVID-19 patients in Bhubaneswar, were shocked after their return to hostel rooms when they saw a large snake in one of the rooms on May 15. The horrified doctors immediately called volunteers for catching the snake.

In a video, which has surfaced online, volunteers can be seen catching a large yellow-coloured snake. The snake, which is called as rat snake, is a non-venomous reptile. After the volunteers caught the snake, they released it back in the wild, away from the residential areas.

Many doctors, who are treating COVID-19 patients in the city, reside in the hostel situated in the Nayapalli area of Bhubaneshwar.
