In another heartbreaking tale of a migrant labourer losing his life because of the lockdown, a 23-year-old worker from Nagpur who started walking towards Namakkal in Tamil Nadu died after walking 500 kms till Secunderabad on April 2.

The 23-year-old man was among a group of 26 men, who set out on foot on their journey to Tamil Nadu from Nagpur, carrying backpacks contained their essential and most valuable possessions. After reaching Secunderabad, the men stayed at a shelder home. It is while being at the shelter home that the 23-year-old man collapsed died, possibly because of exhaustion.
