Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra and the current Leader of Opposition in State Assembly, Devendra Fadnavis, on Thursday, while interacting with media persons in Nagpur, said that looking at the current situation of the state it felt like there was Mughal a rule in Maharashtra.
The senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader called out Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray and asked him to reduce taxes on petrol and diesel in the state. Also, he asked Shiv Sena to stop marching rallies and demanded to take action on illegal alcohol business.
“More than 78 lakh residents of the state were served with heavy electric bills and line deduction notices. Can’t the government help them out? Even after gutka and alcohol were banned in a few districts, dealers are doing their business under ‘systematic planning.’ BJP demands strict actions,” said Fadnavis.
