The Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court on Tuesday (June 22) reprimanded an advocate for attending a virtual hearing while sitting in her car. On realizing that the advocate was sitting in her car during the virtual hearing, Justice Sunil Shukre and Justice Anil Kilor not only refused to listen to the matter but also asked her to attend the next hearing from an appropriate place.
This is not the first instance that Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court has reprimanded an advocate. A few days back, HC reprimanded a young advocate for not dressing as per the code. On Tuesday, in another matter, HC reprimanded a female advocate for coming unprepared during a hearing.
