Nagpur’s Rana Pratap Nagar Police on April 13 arrested a history-sheeter for abducting Sachin Medicos owner’s brother and demanding Rs 3 crore as ransom. The history-sheeter had also extorted money from the brothers before the kidnapping. Police had booked the history-sheeter when the crime had taken place and was on a lookout for him since a long time.

As per the police, Sachin Medicos owner Sachin Jainendrakumar Badjate (42) had taken Rs 1,18,00,000 from Rakesh Vasudev Dekate (39) from June 2014 to November 2014 as a loan for his business. For the next three years, Dekate issued countless death threats to Sachin and his elder brother Shreyansh Badjate and recovered Rs 1,80,00,000 instead of Rs 1,18,00,000.
