Members of LGBTQI community from Nagpur took to the streets to create awareness about the community at the 4th Orange City Pride March organised by Sarathi Trust on January 18, 2020. The pride march was also supported by a few other NGOs from the city.
Apart from creating awareness, the community, through the march, also focussed on highlighting the social responsibilities of the members of the community. The pride march started from Samvidhan Square at 3 pm and continued till 6 pm. Present during the march were Sarathi trust office bearers Anand Chandrani, Nikunj Joshi, members of LGBTQI community and citizens from Nagpur and cities around.
Sarathi Trust is a city-based NGO, which works and supports the rights of the LGBTQI community and aims at bringing unity in society, so that everybody can live together in harmony, without any form of discrimination.
