Bhartiya Kisan Union Chief Gurnam Singh Charuni, on Sunday, while speaking to a group of reporters got emotional as he said that neither the judiciary of India, nor the government was listening to farmers about their problems.
Farmers across the country are protesting at the Delhi-Haryana border against Centre’s newly introduced farm laws and Charuni is one of the faces of the protest.
“The poor people are dying and starving, yet no one cares about them. Both, government and the judiciary have shut their doors for farmers; they don’t want to listen to us,” said Charuni before bursting into tears in front of media reporters.
