On the day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for ‘Janta Curfew’ between 7 am to 9 pm to curb spread of coronavirus, an unidentified person threw a petrol bomb near Shaheen Bagh protest site in Delhi at around 9:30 in the morning. Fortunately, nobody was injured in the incident.

Later in the day, another crude bomb was hurled near Jamia University campus allegedly by a biker. DCP Kumar Gyanesh informed that the petrol bomb was thrown on barricades away from the site of protesters.  Some of the bottles used for the bomb have been recovered by the police for investigation. DCP Gyanesh also informed that two people were seen on the bike.
