Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan today revealed that it was him who named Union Minister of Textiles Smriti Irani's daughter as Shanelle. King Khan revealed the fact as he reposted Shanelle's picture posted by Irani on her Instagram account. He wrote with picture: "My childhood friend Zubin's daughter all grown up and so pretty... and just for the record I named her Shanelle..."

Iranian businessman, Zubin Irani, who's SRK's childhood friend, married Smriti Irani in 2001. Shanelle is Zubin's daughter from his first wife Mona Irani.
