Singer Sona Mohapatra, who’s known for not mincing words, has been issued a death threat by a Salman Khan fan after Sona criticised Salman in a tweet. Sona took to Twitter on Wednesday to share the screenshots of the death threat, which she received in an email.

Two days back, Sona had criticised Salman for taking ‘lowbrow’ digs at actress Priyanka Chopra, who left the soon to be released film ‘Bharat’ to get married to singer Nick Jonas. Salman had said that Priyanka left a film for which most women would have left their husbands.

Reacting to the statement, Sona tweeted, “Because Priyanka Chopra has better things to do in life, real men to hang out with & more importantly, girls to inspire with her journey." In another tweet, Sona also called Salman ‘A showcase and poster child of toxic masculinity.’
