Much was speculated after legendary Bollywood actress Sridevi suddenly died in a Dubai hotel two years back. The actress’ death still remains a mystery for her fans even as post-mortem reports suggested ‘accidental drowning’ in her hotel’s bathtub on February 24th, 2018. Despite the official reports, various reports emerged saying her death could have been due to excessive alcohol intake, cardiac arrest or even a murder.
Author Satyartg Nayak in his latest biography – Sridevi: The Eternal Goddess – revealed that the actress suffered from fainting spells that were caused due to low blood pressure.
Nayak said, “Pankaj Parasher (who directed Sridevi in Chaalbaaz) and Nagarjuna told me that she suffered from low blood pressure. Both revealed that while working on their films, she had fainted in the bathroom. Then I met Srideviji’s niece Maheshwari, who also said she had found once found her collapsed in the bathroom with her face bleeding. Boney sir also told me that Sriji would suddenly collapse while walking.”
