Akshay Kumar’s 2017 movie Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, which was a huge hit in India, has earned Rs 39.85 crores in just two days in China.
The movie, which was released as Toilet Hero on June 8 in China, earned over Rs 15 crores on the first day at the Chinese Box office. As per film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie has not only registered 51.06 % growth but has also become the no.1 film at the Chinese Box Office on day two.

Adarsh also revealed that a section of the film industry wasn’t very confident about the movie working well in China, but the numbers have proved all of them wrong.

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha directed by Shree Narayan Singh and starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar was released worldwide in August 2017. The film, which was made on a budget of just Rs 18 crore, earned Rs 132 crore in India and Rs 216 crore worldwide.
